Seneca Cornelius, Solar Origination Manager - UGE

A native New Yorker, Seneca grew up on the Great South Bay of Long Island. Witnessing issues such as gradual sea level rise in her backyard as well as the growth of toxic algae blooms, she pursued studies in environmental design, policy and planning at Stony Brook University. After developing an interest in grid resiliency she started working in the renewable energy industry. She assisted in project management, policy making, business development and design. Seneca has now shifted her focus to commercial real estate and how to optimize underutilized property spaces in a sustainable fashion. She currently works for UGE where she works with property owners, developers and REITs to originate long term solar leases on their properties throughout the NY metro region. She is very passionate about nature, encouraging diversity in the NYC business market and traveling the world.
