Vera Galvez serves as Executive Vice President of Operations to Maspeth Welding, a structural/miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector. Vera contributes to the overall operations of the organization, business development, and corporate strategy. A LEED AP, Vera holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, and over 20 years of experience in Design, Construction, Project & Facilities Management, and Operations. Her experience includes the successful execution of various notable projects in the Corporate, Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail Banking, Performing Arts, and Aerospace sectors. Vera serves as the ambassador of Maspeth Welding's culture, characterized by its dedication to opportunity, high quality results, accountability, and efficiency. She takes great pride in the company's strengths, from its ethical and transparent approach to its dedicated, passionate, and diverse employees.
In her free time, Vera participates in the Maspeth Squash Program, an initiative developed by Maspeth Welding's President, Jeffrey Anschlowar, who created the world's first and only open-air, outdoor steel-walled squash court. The world-renowned court, hosting free lessons for all company employees with recognized squash pros, aims to make the racquet sport more accessible to all.
