Omnibuild finishes construction on Hyatt Place Hotel in Chelsea. Located at 140 West 24th Street, the hotel stands at 45 stories and is approximately 173,00-square-feet, making it one of the tallest in the neighborhood and one of the largest hotels to open in New York City this year. One of the most unique feature is the thin limestone rainscreen façade system manufactured in Italy. Omnibuild said this is one of the first high-rise buildings in New York City to use GammaStone’s super lightweight, yet monolithic appearance panelized rainscreen stone system.

Hyatt Place Hotel was developed in partnership with Magna Hospitality Group and designed by Gene Kaufman Architects. Omnibuild broke ground on the project in January 2019.
